As AAUP members, we have been receiving Individual Professional Development Accounts to participate in activities that enhance our professional development.
Remember… according to terms secured by your PSU AAUP Collective Bargaining Team:
- Starting in FY 2016-2017, Tenure-related faculty will receive $1000, NTTF $600 and APs $500 each year. This amount is pro-rated by FTE.
- Starting in FY 2018-2019, Tenure-related faculty will receive $1100, NTTF $600 and APs $500 each year. This amount is pro-rated by FTE.
As stated in our CB, Article 19 section 3e, our accounts are accumulating each year up to four years. At the end of the fourth year, year 1 unused funds will not rollover without requesting the funds from the Dean. Below is a table of an example how you may lose unused funds.
To use your fund, you need your supervisor’s pre-approval and contact your office administer or fiscal officer to process the transaction. We highly encourage you to use your IPDA for conferences, travel, professional memberships, licensure, equipment, training, tuition, books and more. A reminder of benefits secured!
