It’s hard to believe, but ballots for the November election will start arriving in mailboxes in mid-October. There’s a lot going on this election, but we want to highlight a local campaign: YES on Measure 26-214: excellent, universal preschool, funded by the top 8% of income earners, for all kids in Multnomah County.
It has been challenging to spread the word during a pandemic while national news headlines make us lose sight of local campaigns. Help get the word out and win this monumental anti-poverty measure by taking these actions today!

Phonebank from home
Volunteer to phone bank from the comfort of your own home! This is the biggest need right now, and the most effective way to reach voters.Phone-banking runs every Wednesday at 6 pm, Saturday at 10:30 am, and Sunday at 2 pm through the election. Every session includes a training—no experience required!
Donate to the cause
Although the UP NOW coalition is almost entirely volunteer-run, there are still hard costs to cover, including printing flyers, buying website and ad space, and securing supplies for the field team. Every dollar you donate via ActBluewill help us reach more voters.
Join the virtual 5K for Pre-K on Oct. 4
Register for a suggested donation of $32 to participate in UP NOW’s virtual 5K for Pre-K this Sunday, Oct. 4! Travel 3.1 miles by any mode of transportation, and then post an action shot on social media with the hashtag #5KforPreK to help spread the word about the campaign!
