You’re invited to Labor Notes “Troublemakers School” — an opportunity to build skills and connect with the broader labor movement. Labor Notes is a publication with a reputation for asking critical questions and bringing different groups of workers together. Every other year, it hosts “Troublemakers School,” a day-long program for workers and community members across the Portland metro area.
We expect that this will be fun, interesting and practical for all union members (regardless of your current level of knowledge or involvement in the union). Sessions include “Contract Campaigns That Win” (co-facilitated by our own Jose Padin), “Building Labor-Community Solidarity” and “Savvy Communication Skills.” As a supporting organization, PSU-AAUP can send as many members as we’d like at no cost.
