PSU-AAUP represents over 1,200 instructional faculty and academic professionals employed by Portland State University. We strive to defend the rights of our bargaining unit through advocacy, collective bargaining, and grievance procedures, and are committed to protecting tenure, due process, and academic freedom for all PSU faculty. We are affiliated with the American Association of University Professors, the nation’s only organization that exclusively represents higher education faculty.

TOMORROW: Caucus on bargaining, summer session cuts & more

Please join us for the tenure-related faculty caucus tomorrow, Tuesday Jan. 27, noon-1pm, Smith 298. Lunch is provided.

We’ll talk about bargaining our next contract, beginning this May. We’ll spend much of the hour discussing summer session cuts: the troubling trends in our new report, and what we as a union can do.
