Following in the bold, fighting footsteps of teachers in West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Arizona, teachers all over southern Washington are going on strike this Tuesday if their districts don't come to the bargaining table with serious proposals for wage raises.
We all know teachers are vital to our society, and we all know they are grossly underpaid.
These southern Washington school districts have been give the money for substantial raises by the Washington State Legislature, but the districts are trying to use the money for savings instead of paying teachers what they deserve. So it's time to join the picket line and help teachers fight back!
Join the Jobs with Justice Solidarity Squad Caravan on Tuesday August 28 from 10-2pm.
The caravan will travel to a number of picket lines at schools in Vancouver, WA to show solidarity with striking teachers!
