Portland Rising is excited to announce a special talk on July 23, by Nicole McCormick, a West Virginia teacher and one of the leaders of the successful state-wide West Virginia teachers’ strike. Nicole will speak about organizing the strike, focusing on challenges and lessons to be learned, at the Portland Association of Teachers’ office, 345 NE 8th Ave, Portland, OR 97232, 7:00-8:30 pm.
