PSU-AAUP Member Training and Development

PSU-AAUP has long invested in member volunteers by covering the cost of training in the areas such as collective bargaining, grievances, and organizing. In our latest member training endeavor, we are excited to be sending two of our newest members of the Collective Bargaining Team to the 2021 Collective Bargaining Institute. Oscár Fernandez and David Kinsella will be attending this week-long immersive training in early December. Run by the Oregon Labor Education and Research Center (LERC), the program covers “the fundamentals of effective negotiations—from drafting proposals and contract costing, to managing the team and finding a settlement.”
