* Pay in the 10th Percentile of Public, Doctoral Universities
* Concerns about Health Care and Retirement Programs
* 3/4 of Fixed Term Faculty on One Year Contracts: Our students need a stable faculty!
* Little Promotion or Advancement for Academic Professionals
* Inadequate Support for Teaching and Research
* Academic Cuts, despite a Large Surplus and Administrative Growth
* Lack of Administrative Advocacy for State Re-investment in Higher Ed and an End to Student Debt
We need more help to provide high quality, affordable public higher education!
Please join us on the stage in the Park Blocks at Noon on Tuesday, March 12th.
(If it's rainy, we'll meet between Smith and Cramer Hall)
We'll take our message - on oversize letters -- to President Wiewel's and Vice Provost Carol Mack's offices, eat lunch together and discuss how to support the bargaining team this year!
