Oregon State University on Thursday announced a policy change that could alter the participation standards for athletes with histories of past misconduct.
Coming eight months after news that OSU pitcher Luke Heimlich pleaded guilty in 2012 to sex abuse, OSU's new rule will require that all new and continuing students self-report past felony convictions and if they are registered sex offenders prior to the fall 2018 term.
