Portland State University announced last week the appointment of Cliff Allen as the new dean of the School of Business Administration.
Allen comes on during a huge expansion project that will triple the size of the building by September 2017.
The new dean was hired internally, having started at PSU in 2008 as an assistant professor. Most recently, as associate dean of graduate programs, he began and led several programs, including Global Supply Chain Management, a top-rated business school graduate program. Allen worked in the private sector as a supply chain specialist.
He succeeds Dan Connolly, who began only a year ago. Connolly resigned without explanation, according to the Portland Business Journal.
