The original message posted here informed on the role of PSU-AAUP (as defined by statute) in the university’s process for responding to, and investigating, harassment and discrimination complaints.
The PSU-AAUP executive council (your elected member-leaders) received some expressions of concern from members, alerting us that the report handled a very sensitive matter, workplace harassment and discrimination, insensitively. We regret and apologize for that communication. Your union stands firm in its commitment to a university free of harassment and discrimination.
The Executive Council will prepare and circulate proper and respectful materials educating our members about the harassment and discrimination complaint process at PSU, and the ways our Association is here to support members throughout that process.
