We strive to defend the rights of our bargaining unit through advocacy, collective bargaining, and grievance procedures, and are committed to protecting tenure, due process, and academic freedom for all PSU faculty. We are affiliated with the American Association of University Professors, the nation’s only organization that exclusively represents higher education faculty.

Introducing Luke Reyes White

My name is Luke Reyes White and I work in the Office of Admissions and New Student Programs as a Transfer Admissions Counselor. As an Academic Professional, I was excited to join PSU-AAUP when I first started my employment here four years ago as I know what it is like to work without the protections of a union. I volunteer for the union as a Unit Rep and support efforts to create a proper step system for Academic Professional Faculty. Being a member of PSU-AAUP improves my job stability, quality of life, and helps me connect with other great people working hard to support students at Portland State!
