“As the trustees of the Butler Joint Trust, which provides funds for the annual Butler award for Library Faculty, we are deeply concerned about the protracted and difficulty negotiations with AAUP-represented faculty. …
The whole community is watching negotiations. We urge you to intervene personally to settle the contract and have spring term proceed without the treat of a strike.”
