Executive Council adopts position on Oregon Public Worker Protection Act

On January 31 the Executive Council adopted a support position on LC2810, the Oregon Public Worker Protection Act, and joins the coalition of Oregon Public Employee Unions that are supporting the concept and working on its passage. This legislative concept, once it becomes law, will ensure that all public employees in the State of Oregon that are represented by a union will have statutorily protected access to their union, and statutorily protected right to participate in their union.
