CLAS Dean’s “Guiding Principles” policy rescinded

May 24, 2017 / PSU-AAUP

On May 11, 2017 we reported our challenge to the CLAS Dean's new "Guiding Principles" document posted on the CLAS Deans Sabbatical Leave website.

PSU-AAUP was notified today in Labor Management that administration does not see the need to seek negotiations on revising Article 33 at this time, and that the new policies established by the "Guiding Principles" document are rescinded. Should a need arise that would justify the need to establish further criteria for sabbatical leave in CLAS or any other school or college, admin will let PSU-AAUP know and we will consider further bargaining on the matter.
