Two bargaining sessions were held this week. On the agenda were post-tenure reviews (deferrals), tuition discounts for members and their dependents, and cost-of-living adjustments (COLA). The collective bargaining team is grateful for all the PSU-AAUP members who observed the sessions via Zoom - your presence does make a difference.
Progress is slow, but this is to be expected in the early stages of bargaining. Persistence is key.
There are three more bargaining sessions scheduled before the end of the academic year:
- Friday, May 27, 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Wednesday, June 8, 9:00am - 1:00pm
- Friday, June 10, 11:00am - 3:00pm
As always, reminders and instructions for observing the bargaining sessions on Zoom will be sent to you via email and text. (We send those Zoom links out as soon as they are provided to the PSU-AAUP office.) Check out more information related to bargaining on our website!
