Action [NOT] Required: Remote Work Agreements for Faculty

If you are a faculty member, in all likelihood, you do not need to fill out a remote work agreement. We, as your union leadership, have been told repeatedly that the administration recognizes that it is accepted standard practice for faculty to work at varied locations, both on campus and off. 

In response to the email sent on Thursday September 30 suggesting that all employees should complete a remote work agreement, the Provost’s office further clarified to PSU-AAUP leadership that it’s really only faculty who are going to “teach consistently in alternate locations (not their primary work location)” who “should complete a Remote Work Agreement to document this arrangement.”
