Yesterday the candidates were announced for the PSU-AAUP Presidential Election and yet the ElectionBuddy ballot that was sent was misprinted as Vice President for Grievances and Academic Freedom. The Executive Council deeply apologizes to the candidates and membership for the error and subsequent confusion.
To maintain election integrity, we are cancelling the current election and will be reissuing new and correct ballots via ElectionBuddy Friday morning.
Per PSU-AAUP bylaws, the election will be open for 15 days. The ballots are now due 5/23.
If you have already voted, you will need to recast your vote on the new ballot.
The candidates for PSU-AAUP President are hosting two joint candidate forums on Zoom. These forums are planned by the candidates and hosted by the Nominating Committee:
