Do you need to take a leave, even for just a day or two of the week? Use the CARES leave. You do not have to have COVID. Anybody can take this leave for any normal sick-leave qualifying reason or to take care of children. 80 hours are available to all represented employees through December 31. For our 12-month employees working over the summer without childcare options, this might be something you can consider drawing from. Remember that as an AAUP member, you also have the Sick Leave Bank you can draw from in emergencies.
