Support our LGBTQIA+ Colleagues

Dear colleagues,

Today, instead of celebrating International Workers Day, members of our PSU-AAUP community are under attack. Anti-trans hate is being displayed and spread on our campus. Please open your doors to our students and colleagues who need care. Check in and make sure our people are OK. Anti-trans hate has no place in our union or on our campus. 

Unionism is about collective well-being for all workers, including those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. We stand in solidarity beside you. 

The PSU-AAUP Office (SMSU 232) will be open this week Tuesday, May 2nd–Thursday, May 4th from 9am–4pm. If you’d like to pop in and rest on a couch, have a soda and snack, and find some respite, please come by.
