Stay Tuned for MOAs: We have and will continue to work for you!

Many of our PSU AAUP colleagues will be off contract starting this third week of June. Many of you, to protect your workload, will not be checking your @pdx.edu e-mail. However, please consider checking once or twice a week for emails from PSU-AAUP as we have some outstanding MOAs we need for you to vote on. Many of them are a result of negotiations that we have had with management about the impacts of COVID19 on our work as faculty, researchers, and academic professionals. For example, this week, you should expect to see a vote on MOAs re: extension of Faculty Development Grant due dates and extension of use of start up monies for tenure-related faculty, extending the timeline for post continuous appointment reviews (PCAR) from three to five years, as well as an agreement on the University’s Copyright Policy.  Later this month, please expect to vote on MOAs re: the extension of deadlines for reviews of all members of our union due to COVID19 impacts and other COVID19 impacted items.
