The following Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was ratified by PSU-AAUP Members on July 17th with over 97% approval for those who voted.
MOA Change "Governor's Day" to "Special Day" in AAUP CBA Article 32 Section 12
The MOA converts the existing “Governor’s Day” holiday to a “Special Day.” Normally, Governor’s Days are taken during the holiday season at the end of the Fall term. The Special Day can be taken at any time of the year. Beyond that, arranging for the day off works the same. A similar change has already been implemented in the SEIU contract and is currently in effect for classified employees. The Special Day is now available to members.
