REMINDER: Retirement transition notifications due

Retirement transition program notifications are due no later than June 15, 2024.

Tenure-track and non-tenure track faculty retirement transition agreements must be approved by June 15th for retirements effective during the 2024-25 academic year.

Here is the TTF and NTTF Retirement Transition contract language. 

Academic Professionals should initiate discussion of Phased Retirement Agreements with their supervisors at least three months prior to their expected retirement date. See the AP Retirement Transition language in our CBA here. 

The administration has stated they won’t be sending reminders, so any colleagues who aren’t PSU-AAUP members might not know how to access this benefit. One more reason to make sure all of our colleagues are signed up for our union.
