Did you know that PSU's Food Pantry provides 6,000 pounds of food to 500-600 PSU students every single week? (Probably many of you did!)
Recently the Food Pantry initiated a new event: a Free Food Market every month on the Park Blocks, co-sponsored by the Oregon Food Bank.
The Pantry has asked for our help: they are short volunteers for the upcoming Market on Monday, May 8th. There are three shifts:
8:00AM - 10:00AM: Set-up
10:00AM - 12:00PM: Serving patrons
12:00PM - 2:00PM: Tear-down and clean-up
They need an additional 6 - 8 volunteers.

The PSU Food Pantry is proud that this monthly event provides low-barrier access (no ID or income verification required) to fresh foods. Any food left at the end of the event is sent to the Food Pantry for distribution to PSU students.
