Portland teachers union president: ‘Gun violence is an education issue’

Portland Association of Teachers President Suzanne Cohen urged educators to take action in light of the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida in a speech at Tuesday's school board meeting.

For Cohen, the issue was personal. She's a graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
