Consultants hired to review Portland State University's safety policies after a fatal police shooting this summer held their first of nine scheduled forums Tuesday, drawing questions about the future of campus security.
The gatherings are billed as a platform for students, staff and others to voice their thoughts about safety on the downtown Portland campus, including whether campus police should be armed.
