PSU-AAUP represents over 1,200 instructional faculty and academic professionals employed by Portland State University. We strive to defend the rights of our bargaining unit through advocacy, collective bargaining, and grievance procedures, and are committed to protecting tenure, due process, and academic freedom for all PSU faculty. We are affiliated with the American Association of University Professors, the nation’s only organization that exclusively represents higher education faculty.

Occupational Liability Insurance coverage now available from AFT National

March 17, 2025 / PSU-AAUP

The PSU-AAUP Executive Council recently voted to provide Occupational Liability Insurance for all dues-paying PSU-AAUP Members. This new insurance benefit is provided through our AFT National affiliation and provides broad protection for legal defense costs from a wide-range of employment-related issues with coverage starting March 2025.
