Join the PSU-AAUP Legislative Committee

PSU-AAUP is seeking volunteers to join the Legislative Committee. Members on the committee work with the VP for Legislative and Political Action to make recommendations to the Executive Council on positions regarding state and federal legislation and electoral issues. The latter includes both ballot measures and candidate races. Serving on the legislative committee is one of the many ways that you can advocate for higher education policies to improve working conditions, protect retirement and healthcare benefits, and guarantee fair wages for members. If you are concerned about the future of higher education, this is the time to join a dedicated team who work alongside other unions to advance workers’ rights.
