Did you know that members can observe Executive Council meetings? We’ve always had open meetings but admittedly, it has not been well advertised. We’d like to invite members to observe our meetings so you can stay connected to what is happening in our union. The Executive Council meets every Thursday from 12pm-1:30pm. All meetings are currently being conducted via zoom. Please email heather@psuaaup.net for the zoom link if you’re interested in observing. In order to have efficient meetings, we ask the following of observers:
- Mute microphone during Executive Council’s official business
- Please save questions and comments until ‘Open Forum’ for members
On occasion the Executive Council has to move to a close session meeting. This happens when we need to discuss personnel matters or confidential grievances. If a closed session takes place, all observers will be asked to leave the meeting. We look forward to seeing you all at our next virtual EC meeting!
