Family Friendly Fund
The FFF Committee’s role is to review applications for reimbursement from a pool of money provided by Article 33 of the CBA, which is $175,000 for fiscal year 2026 (starting July 1). The purpose of the FFF is to support members by offsetting the costs of ongoing caregiving as well as the caregiving-related costs of professional travel and development. The FFF Committee reviews applications for reimbursement four times each calendar year: October (for Summer term expenses), December (Fall term expenses), March (Winter term expenses), and May (Spring term expenses).

Faculty Conference Fund
The FCF Committee’s role is to review applications for reimbursement from a pool of money provided by Article 19 of the CBA, which is $150,000 for fiscal year 2026 (starting July 1). The purpose of the FCF is to supplement other sources of travel funding, including Individual Professional Development Accounts (IPDAs), departmental funds, and grant funds, so that members do not incur out-of-pocket expenses for professional travel.
This is a new fund and a new committee. The guidelines for eligibility appear in Section 7 of Article 19 and a process for evaluating reimbursement requests will be developed by a joint committee consisting of two members from AAUP and two from OAA. It is expected that this committee will also evaluate applications, at least for the first year of the program. The FCF Committee will review applications two times each year: November (for Spring and Summer term expenses) and April (Fall and Winter term expenses).
Two members are needed (one faculty, one AP), sign up here to join this and other committees.
