A message from the PSU President went out reminding our community to attend one of the nine listening forums next week to hear from students, faculty, staff and community members about campus safety and security. The listening sessions are organized by Margolis Healy, an independent security consulting firm PSU has hired to review campus safety.
All the forums will take place at PSU's Academic and Student Recreation Center (ASRC), Room 515. There also will be an online survey available next week for those who cannot attend the forums but would like to provide feedback.
Here is the schedule of the listening sessions:
Tuesday, Oct. 30
12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 31
8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 1
8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
We urge all PSU-AAUP members to participate in the upcoming listening forums, or to respond to the online survey on campus safety going out next week.
