With over 200 mission-critical PSU jobs on the line, January 30th is the final Board meeting before cuts can happen in the Cudd administration’s PIVOT timeline. Join us in asking the administration to use its full lobbying apparatus to push Governor Kotek to use a small piece of the over $1B in Oregon’s Education Stability Fund to offset the need to layoff beloved colleagues. Given the Board’s cancellation of the November BoT meeting, this is a vital opportunity to speak out on the way the administration is pushing back on shared governance, remote work, and ADA accommodations, as well as speak out about the impact of the previous decade of cuts, hiring freezes, and understaffing. Help advocate for the Cudd administration to partner with PSU-AAUP members to recruit the 1,800 students needed to offset the $35M in cuts.
