April Board of Trustees Meeting Recap

So many PSU-AAUP members attended the April PSU Board of Trustees meeting that there weren’t enough chairs. Members -supported by other on-campus unions and student allies- moved the Board to approve increased reserve spending language. Read Trevino Brings Plenty’s comments to the Board HERE. 

That said, Management supports 3% budget cuts each year for the next three years (see slide 38 from the committee presentation). The June 7th Board of Trustees meeting (ASRC 515 at 9:30 am) is where PSU's budget will be passed. In this context, it'll be important all members attend in their PSU-AAUP t-shirts and bring their coworkers.
