As previously communicated, the membership no confidence vote is being conducted in two parts: an in-person kickoff voting last Friday at the rally, followed by an online voting period to ensure broader participation.
Ballots cast during the in-person voting period will be included in the final tally.
Electronic voting will now be opened via ElectionBuddy for the remainder of the voting period. Electronic ballots will be emailed to eligible members who have not yet voted. Members who have already cast an in-person ballot will not receive an electronic ballot.
Both in-person votes from Friday and electronic votes are part of a single, continuous voting process, and all valid ballots will be combined in the final count.
Attached, we’re including a one-page summary of the no-confidence motion, the product of the deep concerns so many members have expressed after President Cudd’s Senate remarks and recent town hall.
The electronic voting period will be open starting at 4:30pm today (April 6) and remain open until Monday, April 20th at 5pm. If you have not received a ballot by 4:30pm, please email aaup@psuaaup.net.
