A new population threshold was established by the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics that resulted in the discontinuance of five regional CPI-U indexes including Portland-Salem. Information about the change is here. The CPI-U Portland-Salem will be used for the January-February COLA adjustment, as we reported on July 22, 2017.
PSU-AAUP and the University will need to agree on a new index in 2018 for the 2019 COLA increases.
