PSU-AAUP President We’ll be electing one (1) person to serve to the date listed:- President (⅓ release time position) (One-year interim position ending 4/30/2026, with the option to run again in the next election period)
The role of the President is to facilitate and lead PSU-AAUP’s Executive Council, as well as to serve as the main spokesperson for PSU-AAUP to University Administration, Faculty Senate, and other governance bodies including AAUP-Oregon’s Executive Council. The President works to develop consensus among elected leadership, provides daily supervision of PSU-AAUP Staff, and ensures the appropriate implementation of AAUP’s strategic goals and objectives. The PSU-AAUP President is responsible to the Executive Council and all PSU-AAUP members. You can nominate yourself or nominate a colleague who is willing to serve by emailing their names tonominations@psuaaup.net. All nominees will be contacted to confirm their acceptance of their nomination and offered an opportunity to submit a 150-word statement of candidacy. Nominations timeframe:- 4/30 Nominations close
