The Family-Friendly Fund has been significantly expanded to better support the daily lives of our bargaining unit. Thanks to our contract, the University allocates $175,000 every year—and since unused funds roll over annually, there is robust, sustainable support available for you.
What’s New?
- Ongoing Care: Subsidies are now available for recurring monthly caregiving expenses (like daycare or eldercare).
- Pre-Approval (optional): Plan with confidence! You can now submit estimated costs for "Conditional Approval" before you spend.
- Expansive Support: This fund is for all PSU-AAUP employees and covers care for children, elders, and other loved ones who depend on you.
