Introducing Bob Schroeder

My name is Bob Schroeder and I’m an Associate Professor & Education Librarian in the Millar Library. Born in Detroit to a working class family, becoming involved with the union seemed like the obvious and right thing to do. I’ve been on the AAUP Executive Committee, I’ve been our Treasurer, a Unit Rep since 2004, on the Core Organizing Committee during some tense negations a few years ago, and I’m currently on our Donated Sick Leave Bank Committee. Working with my fellow committed union colleagues has been one of the most rewarding and heart-warming experiences of my career at PSU. People speaking truth to power and making a difference right here - insuring faculty shared governance now, and in the future.
