Any dues-paying chapter member in good standing is eligible to nominate themselves, or to nominate another member (with their knowledge, please), as delegate or alternate. Delegates must also be willing to report back to the Executive Council the results of the conference.

Once the nomination and/or election period is over, we’ll announce the results to members and send our list of delegate(s) and alternate(s) to AAUP National meeting organizers.

Travel Information for both conferences:
As we have budgeted to only send a limited number of delegates to these conferences, elected delegates may need to utilize IPDA, conference funds or out-of-pocket expenses to attend these meetings.
Delegates must be willing to serve in person, in Chicago, IL for the AAUP Biennial, or in Washington, D.C. for the AFT Convention. There is no remote option for either organization.
Please email aaup@psuaaup.net with your delegate or alternate nominations or for any questions.
Thank you for keeping our union and our democracy strong!
