On May 2nd PSU-AAUP elected leaders sent the Administration PSU-AAUP’s Response to the University’s Proposal for the Elimination of an Academic Program: Intensive English Language Program.
From the response:
“The Association takes issue with three aspects of the University’s financial analysis: (i) an underappreciation that the program is trending toward recovery in the post-pandemic period; (ii) an overreliance on the Revenue and Cost Attribution Tool (RCAT) to assess IELP’s financial sustainability; and (iii) a neglect of the lost opportunity costs associated with the elimination of the IELP pipeline.”
