Portland Public Schools, teachers union reach tentative agreement on contract

Portland Public Schools and its teachers union have reached a tentative agreement on a three-year contract, according to an announcement Tuesday evening.

The Portland Association of Teachers represents more than 4,000 educators and tensions have been high for months as teachers went without a contract.
