More than 1,400 PSU undergraduate student workers have announced the success of their unionization campaign, which received 97.6% support, transforming Portland State into a wall-to-wall union institution.

Per publicly available data, in Oregon’s private sector, “in the last 12 months, there have been 62 union elections filed in Oregon and 49 union elections held. In 27 of those elections, a new unit was certified. There are currently 16 group of workers moving through the process of winning their union, and 8 of them are waiting for their union election.”
